Is it permissible for the husband to use the money deposited for him in the savings account by his family to go for Umrah with his wife, or must the expenses for Umrah come from his own money earned through his work?

It is permissible to perform 'Umrah with purely halal money or with mixed money. However, it is not permissible to perform 'Umrah with money belonging to one's parents unless they give permission, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The property of a Muslim person is not lawful without his willing consent." 'Umrah performed with unlawfully acquired money is valid, but it will have no reward and will not be accepted.
