Could the recurring mosque fires be due to wrongdoings and violations of Sharia taking place inside it, such as backbiting and gossip, begging, not completing the prayer rows, the Imam neglecting some of his duties, and the cessation of knowledge circles?

It is permissible to convert a church into a mosque after removing images, statues, crosses, and idolatrous symbols, and it is not a condition to change the external shape of the building. Mosques, including the Kaaba, are susceptible to disasters such as flooding, fire, and demolition, which necessitates inspecting the quality of the building and electrical installations. This is not necessarily related to the transgressions of some worshippers, which have no apparent connection to the burning of the mosque. Rather, they should be advised and reminded of their religious duties.
