In ghusl al-janabah (ritual bath after sexual impurity), it is necessary to make water reach all parts of the body. Specific parts like the penis and anus do not require a special intention for their washing; rather, the intention is made at the beginning of the ghusl and continues until its end. Touching the buttocks during the ghusl does not invalidate it, nor does it invalidate wudu (ablution). However, wudu is invalidated by touching the anus according to some scholars.
