Is planting trees considered a charity for which sins are forgiven, especially for someone who does not have money to donate?

Charity, whether through planting trees or giving money, expiates sins and forgives transgressions, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire." Planting trees is an ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), and its doer is rewarded for it even after his death, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No Muslim plants a tree or sows a seed from which a bird, a human, or an animal eats, but it will be charity for him." Ongoing charity is better than interrupted charity, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him." Good is hoped for you if you give charity by planting a tree, but the forgiveness of sins is from the unseen.
