Does caring for flowers and trees at home increase a Muslim's scale of good deeds, just as one is rewarded for feeding stray animals?

If roses and trees are beneficial, then planting them and caring for them brings reward and increases good deeds, based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "If the Hour comes while one of you has a sapling in his hand, and he is able to plant it before he stands up, then he should do so." And based on his saying: "There is no Muslim who plants a tree or cultivates a crop, from which a bird, human, or animal eats, but it will be charity for him." And Allah has forbidden the destruction of crops and offspring.
