The book "Shu'ab al-Iman" by Al-Bayhaqi is one of the most comprehensive books in tracing the branches of faith. As for the story of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, drinking honey, it came with two narrations in the Two Sahihs: the first from Zaynab bint Jahsh, and the second from Hafsah.

The more probable view is that drinking honey was at Zaynab bint Jahsh's house, and that the two women conspiring (Aisha and Hafsah) agreed to say to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "I perceive from you the smell of maghafir." Other weak narrations have been reported that point to Sawda or Umm Salamah. As for "Musnad al-Rabi' bin Habib," it is criticized and filled with rejected and false hadiths, and its author is unknown in the well-known books of men (biographies of narrators).
