Working as an accountant in a company whose primary activity is permissible carries no objection, provided that one avoids directly engaging in or assisting with any prohibited activity, such as bribery or calculating usurious interest. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses. If it is not possible to avoid forbidden things, then it is not permissible to work.
