Sorrow over unachieved goals can be positive if it motivates an improvement in plans and a补 deficiencies, and negative if it is discouraging. Good planning and taking the necessary means are essential for achieving goals and success in life, and they do not conflict with divine decree (Qadar); for a believer flees from Allah's decree to Allah's decree, and knows that everything is by decree. Merely taking the means does not guarantee results, so one must rely on Allah and seek success from Him. If goals are not achieved, one must be cautious of showing discontent with the divine decree. It is advised to seek Allah's help, improve one's opinion of Him,补 personal shortcomings, temper ambitions to match available capabilities, and beware of wasting time, which is considered a divine punishment, as wasting time is worse than death.
