What is the ruling on telling a non-Muslim teacher that you pray for them in their absence?

A woman's supplication for a non-mahram man is permissible, and it is permissible to inform him of it if there is a need and no fear of temptation. However, if there is no need or if temptation is feared, it is not permissible, especially if the woman is young, because speaking with a young non-mahram woman without need is a cause for suspicion of temptation.
