Is a person sinful if someone makes a religiously incorrect statement because of that person's actions?

Abuse is not a religious impediment to offering advice. Rather, a Muslim must advise and be patient, seeking reward from Allah, in accordance with His saying, the Almighty: "O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination." There is no sin upon you if someone says something that contravenes religious law because of your advice; however, you must teach them and clarify what is correct for them.
