The answer

Whoever denies the existence of abrogation (naskh) in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, and that the Sunnah clarifies the Qur’an, has contradicted the consensus of Muslim scholars. This is because abrogation is established by the gradual development of the Sharia. Allah Almighty says: "Whatever a verse We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it" (2:106), and He says: "And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse" (16:101). [Examples include] the Prophet's prohibition of sacrificial meats then their permissibility. That the Sunnah clarifies the Qur’an is denied only by the ignorant. Allah Almighty says: "And We have sent down to you the Reminder that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them" (16:44), and He says: "And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatever he forbids you from, abstain from it" (59:7). It is not permissible to assist misguided sects like the Qadiyanis, because it is cooperation in sin and aggression. Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression" (5:2).
