How can the King say, "The same to you," to one who asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) for the Waseelah, while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "It is a station in Paradise that is not befitting except for one of Allah's servants, and I hope that I am he"?

Perhaps the preacher relied on the Hadith, "Whoever supplicates for his brother in his absence, the angel says to him: 'And for you the same.'" This is a strange understanding, for the truth is that "Al-Wasilah" is a station in Paradise exclusively for the Prophet, peace be upon him. Supplicating for him with it brings great reward and the hope of his intercession. Thus, Al-Wasilah is a high station in Paradise, and the Prophet, peace be upon him, is its possessor. Supplicating with it increases the Prophet's elevation and brings back rewards and the obligation of his intercession for those who pray.
