What is the wisdom behind the appreciation of nakedness and foolishness, and everyone's striving to win it, while chaste girls are not appreciated?
One must be content with the divine decree (qadar) and be patient in the face of tribulation, for Allah has ordained everything with His knowledge and wisdom. What Allah has decreed is pure good, and delving too deeply into the understanding of divine decree leads to misguidance, for divine decree is Allah's secret among His creation. Marriage is one of Allah's blessings, but its facilitation or delay does not indicate Allah's love or dislike for a servant, for this world is the prison of the believer and the paradise of the disbeliever.
The criterion of honor in the sight of Allah is not the abundance or scarcity of worldly possessions, for Allah grants wealth and restricts provision to those whom He loves and those whom He does not. The essence lies in obeying Allah and being grateful in times of prosperity, and patient in times of poverty.
One must fear Allah and supplicate frequently for the facilitation of marriage, for Allah holds the treasures of mercy. When marriage is enveloped by Allah's mercy, it becomes a source of affection and tranquility, but if Allah withholds His mercy, it turns into worry and torment. Blessings change according to Allah's mercy or its withholding, for "Whatever mercy Allah grants to people, none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds, none can release it thereafter. And He is the Almighty, the Wise." The outward state of disobedient people may appear joyful, but their inner state is desolate, for Allah humiliates those who disobey Him.
