What is the ruling on supplicating against oppressors that Allah may destroy them at a specific time, such as in the morning or at night?
It is permissible to supplicate for the destruction of an oppressor if they deserve it and commensurate with their oppression, based on the Almighty's saying: "Allah does not like the public utterance of evil, except by one who has been wronged." If their oppression does not warrant destruction, then it is not permissible to supplicate for it. There is no harm in supplicating that Allah destroy the oppressor who deserves destruction, whether now or tomorrow, and this is not considered an transgression in supplication. It is more preferable to entrust the matter to Allah Almighty and to seek vengeance from the oppressors, and to supplicate with what has been revealed in the Quran and Sunnah, such as: "Our Lord, make us not a trial for the wrongdoing people" and "and grant us victory over the disbelieving people," and the supplication of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "And grant me victory over whoever wrongs me, and show me my vengeance from him."
