Reading the Quran is a beneficial act, and listening to it with contemplation is hoped to bring the listener a great reward, abundant good, and mercy, as stated by Allah the Almighty: "And when the Qur'an is recited, listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy." Opening Quranic channels in homes brings much good. However, it is better for a Muslim to perform ruqyah upon themselves, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) did, and there is no harm in seeking ruqyah from righteous people. The Prophet (peace be upon him) counted among the characteristics of those who enter Paradise without reckoning that they do not seek ruqyah. It should be noted that spitting (nafth) is essential in ruqyah, and it is absent in remote ruqyah. However, this does not prevent one from receiving a partial benefit from listening to remote ruqyah.
