I put a picture of the sole of a baby girl's feet on my WhatsApp profile, and a relative advised me that this is not permissible, considering it a curse, disgusting, and Haram. When I asked for proof of its prohibition, she did not provide any. So, is placing pictures of the sole of the foot, whether of a child or an adult, actually Haram? And is it considered a curse?

All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. It is not forbidden to place the aforementioned picture because it is part of an image that has no life in it, and it is permissible according to scholars, especially since it is devoid of a face. However, the question remains about the need for such a picture, and it is better to leave it and replace it with something beneficial. And Allah knows best.
