What is the ruling on prayers that were performed while the worshiper's foot was uncovered before knowing the ruling, and must they be repeated? What should be done if their number is unquantifiable?

Scholars differed concerning the ruling on a woman covering her feet during prayer. The majority of them hold that it is obligatory, citing the hadith of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her). Others, however, hold that it is not obligatory, arguing that no authentic hadith has been established regarding the obligation of covering the feet, and that they are generally visible in her home.
