Does the displeasure of a mother who is difficult to please with her daughter keep her out of Paradise, and what should she do in this case?

A mother's actions of rejection and expulsion are wrong if there is no reason for them. It is not permissible for a son to reciprocate his parents' actions in kind, for Allah has linked their right with His Oneness. Allah Almighty says: "And your Lord has decreed that you shall not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [uff], and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word." The mother is the most deserving of good treatment and companionship, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Your mother, then your mother, then your mother, then your father." The mother's displeasure may keep one away from Paradise if there is no excuse, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the parent, and the displeasure of Allah is in the displeasure of the parent." However, if the son fulfills her rights and does not neglect them, there is no sin upon him if she is displeased.
