Is it obligatory for a wife to seek divorce from a husband who commits indecencies and neglects the upbringing of their children, or is it merely her right? And is there any suspicion regarding her marriage to someone who helped her obtain a divorce, or does the Hadith, "Whoever corrupts a woman against her husband," apply to it? And is he obligated to divorce her and return her to her first husband?

If what is mentioned about the husband is true, then his actions indicate his bad character and lack of piety towards himself and his family, by causing the corruption of his children. This contradicts the responsibility of raising children, so there is no obedience to him in disobeying the Creator concerning pornographic scenes, anal sex, or drinking alcohol.

Firstly, efforts should be made to reform him through prayer and sincere advice. If he does not reform, it is then desirable for the wife to seek a divorce from him, especially if she has children with him.

If the intention of the foreign man was only to help the wife get rid of her husband, then there is no sin upon him. However, if he intended to make her divorce so he could marry her, this is considered forbidden instigation (takhbib). It would have been more appropriate for the woman to ask the man to help her reform her husband.
