Are angels given free will or are they preordained?!

It is not advisable to use the term "compelled or free-willed" when speaking of angels, because it is not mentioned in the texts of Sharia. Angels are created with an inclination towards obedience and faith; they are free-willed and possess volition and will, but they do not disobey Allah.
