Is the word "Abshir" (Rejoice/Good tidings) considered among the abandoned Sunnahs, and is its utterer rewarded, in the context of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, responding to a Bedouin who said to him: "Will you not fulfill what you promised me?"

Among the objectives of the message of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is for him to be a bearer of good tidings to the believers of all good in this world and the hereafter, as stated in the Holy Quran. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used the word "Rejoice!" (أبشر) with his companions, which reflects his excellent character and his act of bringing joy to them, whether through a promise or by fulfilling what pleases them. This is not merely a word, but a genuine bringing of good tidings to the Muslim and an act of bringing joy to him, whether through speech or action.
