What is the correct way to make the intention (niyyah) for the obligatory ghusl (ritual bath) from janabah (major ritual impurity) for someone who emitted semen with pleasure and is not married, and what should he say in his intention if he emitted semen more than once and did not perform ghusl in between?

What is prescribed for one who is in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity) and wishes to perform ghusl (ritual bath) is to intend to remove the ritual impurity (raf‘ al-hadath), or to perform ghusl from janabah, or to make permissible what is not permissible except with ghusl, such as prayer. So, if he performs ghusl with the intention of making prayer permissible or performing ghusl from janabah, his ritual impurity is removed. It is not necessary to specify the type of impurity; rather, the intention to remove the impurity or to make prayer permissible is sufficient. This intention is sufficient even if there are multiple impurities.
