Does holding semen after masturbating during the daytime in Ramadan invalidate the fast?

Masturbation is forbidden, and committing it in Ramadan is a greater sin. If a fasting person feels the semen about to exit after masturbation, and it almost came out but he held it back, then there is a difference of opinion among scholars regarding the validity of his fast. It is better for him to make up that day.
