Is it possible that the interpretation of a good dream by a trustworthy person could prevent its actual occurrence in reality?

If a Muslim sees something pleasing in a dream, he should praise Allah and relate it to those he loves among the righteous and good people. However, if he sees something he dislikes, he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and from the evil of Satan, spit three times (dryly), and not relate it to anyone, for it will not harm him. The dream may come true as interpreted if the interpretation is correct, but it is not necessary for the dream to come true for the first interpreter.
