Is it permissible to go on a scholarship to America that requires living with a non-Muslim family that owns pets, removing the niqab, and studying in a mixed-gender school?

It is not permissible to travel to obtain the scholarship due to the corrupting influences that result from it, including: residing with a disbelieving family, abandoning the legal hijab, and mixing in studies. Residing with non-Muslims exposes a person to temptation in their religion and morals, and there has been a prohibition against residing among polytheists. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I am free from any Muslim who resides among the polytheists."
