Is it permissible to keep plastic dolls after detaching their heads and keeping them separate from the body?

It is not sufficient to remove the eyes, eyebrows, hands, or legs; rather, the removed limb must be one without which life cannot continue, such as decapitation, effacing the face, or piercing the chest or abdomen. There is no harm in possessing a doll's body separated from its head, according to the general consensus of scholars, and similarly, a head separated from the body, according to the majority of scholars.
