Is it permissible for a husband to divorce his Christian wife if they are having problems, even though she is reading about Islam, and he is thinking of returning to his home country?

It is advisable to strive in inviting the wife to Islam, to be patient with her bad manners, and not to divorce her. Allah may guide her, and the husband may receive a great reward, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "By Allah, were Allah to guide a single man through you, it would be better for you than red camels." However, if there is a need to divorce her due to her bad companionship or incompatible nature, there is no sin in that.
