Is it valid to recite with the ‫extended separated madd in the first rakʿah, then shorten it in the second?

The disagreement among reciters regarding the prolongation (madd) of the separated madd (madd al-munfasil) for Hafs is well-known and famous. There is no harm for someone who recites with one of the two faces (ways of recitation) in one rak'ah and with the other in another rak'ah.
