What is the authenticity and interpretation of the Hadith: "Do not kill your children secretly, for Al-Ghail will overtake the knight and throw him from his horse"?

The aforementioned hadith in the question, which prohibits "secretly killing children" by ghayl, is weak due to the weakness in its chain of narration because of Muhajir ibn Abi Muslim. Jurists have interpreted ghayl with two explanations: a husband having intercourse with his breastfeeding wife, or a pregnant woman breastfeeding another child.
