How is an inheritance divided Islamically among five living sons, a deceased son who has children, three living daughters, and a wife, given that the deceased father left a sum of money in the bank?

If a deceased person passes away and has children and grandchildren whose father died before the grandfather, the inheritance is divided equally among the living children. The grandchildren whose father passed away inherit nothing from their grandfather because they are excluded by their uncles. It is commendable for the grandfather to make a bequest for these grandchildren, and it is commendable for the children to grant them something from their share if there was no bequest.
