What is the ruling on someone who swore by the the Qur'an, divorcing his wife, that he would not commit adultery, then he committed adultery, and does the divorce take place?

If a man swears by the Mushaf (the Qur’an) that he will not commit zina (fornication/adultery) and then commits it, he must offer expiation for breaking an oath: feeding ten poor people, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If he cannot find any of these, then he must fast for three days. If he coupled his oath with divorce, saying he would not commit zina and then committed it, his wife is divorced. He must also know that zina is one of the most heinous sins, that Satan is his enemy, and he must repent and seek forgiveness.
