What is the Surah that was revealed to the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while Gabriel, peace be upon him, was beside him, and it was said that the angel who brought it down had never descended before, and descended from a door that had never been opened before?

The noble prophetic tradition states that Surat Al-Fatihah and the concluding verses of Surat Al-Baqarah are two lights that were given to the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and were not given to any prophet before him. An angel descended with them who had never descended to Earth before except on that day, and that a Muslim does not recite a single letter from them but that it is granted to him. Ibn Atiyyah explained that it was Jibreel, peace be upon him, who descended with the recitation of Al-Fatihah, while the angel descended with its reward.
