What is the ruling on working in a usurious bank, and what should a husband do if his wife works there and refuses to leave this job?

Working in usurious banks is among the grave sins and major prohibitions. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who gives it, its two witnesses, and its scribe. They must fear Allah in seeking sustenance from lawful earnings. If the wife refuses to leave her job, the dispute between them must be resolved wisely, for there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator.
