Did the Qur’an mention anything about other planets in the universe?

The Holy Quran mentioned planets within the context of demonstrating the greatness of Allah's creation and His magnificent artistry. He created the heavens and adorned them with luminous planets, both fixed and orbiting. Allah has also shown that they will scatter at the advent of the Hour.

Planets are the luminous celestial bodies visible at night, excluding the sun and the moon. They include both great and lesser stars, some of which are orbiting and some fixed.

Allah has sworn by "al-Khunnas, al-Jawari, al-Kunnas" (the receding stars, the orbiting ones, the sweeping ones), which are planets that deviate from their usual courses, such as the sun, the moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Mercury.

As for precise details like life on other planets or the possibility of ascending to them, there are no explicit indications in the Quran.
