Is it permissible to use water that has an odor due to pipe calcification when heated to a high temperature for Wudu (ablution) or Ghusl (ritual bathing)?

Ablution is valid with heated water that has an odor due to intense heating, as long as the odor is not a result of parts of the pipes separating and mixing with the water, with that odor predominating over it, which would remove it from being absolute water; in that case, ablution with it would not be valid.
