Is the mother sinful or indebted to her runaway daughter for the trousseau that she gave to her younger sister?

A woman's marriage without her guardian's permission is invalid, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Any woman who marries without her guardian's permission, her marriage is invalid." There is no sin upon the mother for what she did, and it does not remain a debt upon her, because gifts and endowments are not owned except by possession. The daughter is the disobedient and sinful one for marrying without her guardian's permission, and she must repent.
