What is the ruling on participating in Islamic forums that contain sections for anasheed (Islamic vocal music), where infatuation between girls and women and the male vocalists becomes apparent?

Islamic Sharia includes rulings for purifying a person outwardly and inwardly, among them the prohibition of khalwa (private seclusion between a man and a woman who are not close relatives) and ikhtilat (unrestricted intermingling of sexes), and lowering the gaze for both men and women, especially if accompanied by lust. Prohibited looking is considered the origin of misfortunes that befall a person, as it gives rise to thought, then lust, then intention, which can lead to falling into major sins and unlawful attachment. This is what scholars have warned against in the context of "love of images," especially given modern means that increase temptation.

Women are also warned against unlawful attachment to munshideen (singers of religious songs) due to their beautiful voices, appearances, movements, and effects. This type of anashid (religious songs) has become a source of temptation and resembles the songs of the immoral. The munshideen bear a great burden in this regard because they are the cause of women's attachment to them.

To get rid of this temptation, a woman must discard images of munshideen, stop listening to them, change nicknames that express attachment, hasten to marry, and fill her life with beneficial things like listening to the Quran and knowledge lessons. Ibn Taymiyyah explained that for one who has been struck by one of Iblis's poisoned arrows, the cure is marriage, perseverance in prayers and supplication, and avoiding the dwelling of the person to whom one is attached.
