What should I do if my father does not wake me for Fajr prayer and I have reached the age of puberty?

Parents must urge their children to maintain prayer on time and encourage them to do so, as this involves fulfilling Allah's command. A father will be questioned about his children on the Day of Judgment, just as a father is responsible for his flock. Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymin mentioned that a person must command his family to pray, and it is not permissible for a father to leave his children sleeping without waking them for prayer and following up with them.

Among the reasons for a youth to grow up worshipping his Lord is to accustom him to it from a young age through parental encouragement.

The questioner is advised to ask his father, or a family member, to wake him for prayer, and to take the means to wake up, such as sleeping early, setting an alarm, and having a sincere resolve.
