Is it obligatory to abandon school studies that include atheistic ideas and focus entirely on studying Islamic sciences online during the final secondary stage?
The love of seeking Islamic knowledge is a sign of goodness, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If Allah wills good for someone, He grants him understanding in the religion." You are not obliged to abandon your regular studies for the sake of seeking Islamic knowledge; in fact, we do not advise you to leave them. It is possible to combine regular studies with the pursuit of Islamic knowledge, especially since regular studies are important in this era. Similarly, one should not abandon studies because of the teaching of Darwin's theory. If studying this theory is mandatory, and the student knows its falsehood, then there is no harm in studying it. The purpose of studying it would then be to understand in detail the aspects of its falsehood in order to warn against it.
