What is the explanation and clarification of all that pertains to Gog and Magog, in terms of: who are they, the meaning of their name, their lineage, their physical descriptions, their number, and are they in existence now? With mention of evidence from the Quran and Sunnah, and the location of their barrier?

Gog and Magog are two nations from the Children of Adam, and their emergence is one of the major signs of the Hour. They are mentioned in both the Quran and the Sunnah.

Their emergence will occur after Jesus (peace be upon him) kills the Antichrist. They will emerge and spread corruption throughout the earth, drinking the water of Lake Tiberias. Then they will claim to have killed those in heaven, so they will shoot their arrows towards the sky, and these arrows will return to them stained with blood.

They will besiege the Prophet of Allah, Jesus, and his companions. Jesus will then pray to his Lord, and Allah will send worms upon them, which will kill them. Their corpses and their stench will spread across the earth. Then Allah will send birds to carry their corpses and cast them wherever Allah wills.

Their current existence is confirmed, and they attempt to break out of the barrier every day by digging it, until the time comes when Allah permits them to emerge.
