When does a Muslim perform the Eid prayer?

The time for the Eid prayers is after sunrise and extends until its declination (zawwal), meaning from when the sun has risen to the height of a spear until the beginning of zawwal. It is recommended not to delay the Eid al-Adha prayer so that Muslims can slaughter their sacrificial animals, while it is recommended to slightly delay the Eid al-Fitr prayer so that people can give out their Zakat al-Fitr before it.
