The time for the Eid prayers is after sunrise and extends until its declination (zawwal), meaning from when the sun has risen to the height of a spear until the beginning of zawwal. It is recommended not to delay the Eid al-Adha prayer so that Muslims can slaughter their sacrificial animals, while it is recommended to slightly delay the Eid al-Fitr prayer so that people can give out their al-Fitr before it.
