Taking drugs and intoxicants is an act of disobedience and a major sin. If a drug addict divorces his wife while he is aware of what he is saying, then his divorce is valid. If this divorce completes three divorces, then his wife becomes unlawful for him, and she must flee from him and is not permitted to allow him to have conjugal relations with her.
