Is it permissible for a daughter to lead her mother in prayer aloud, knowing that the mother is elderly and unable to memorize, read, or write, and that the daughter is a woman?

It is permissible for a woman to lead other women in prayer and to recite aloud in the audible prayers—Maghrib, 'Isha, and Fajr—as long as no non-mahram man is present. Her imamate for other women is valid according to the preponderant opinion. Indeed, some scholars have recommended congregational prayer for women among themselves. As for Dhuhr and 'Asr, there is no audible recitation in them.
