What should a person do if their family uses newspapers to wrap food or place under clothes, knowing that these contain Quranic verses and names of Allah, and he has advised them repeatedly but they have not responded?

It is obligatory to respect newspapers if they contain Quranic verses, prophetic hadiths, or revered names. However, if they are devoid of such content, there is no harm in using them as a tablecloth or a mat. It is not obligatory to meticulously search through newspapers for the name of Allah due to the difficulty involved in that, but one should gently advise family members not to use newspapers that contain the remembrance of Allah.
