What is the ruling on separating two spouses who love each other, married Islamically, the wife is pregnant, and the husband is devoted to her, but the family wants to separate them due to a difference in nationality?

Separating a husband and wife is a grave and forbidden sin, an act perpetrated by devils and sorcerers, as stated in the Quran and Sunnah. Differences in nationality should not be an obstacle to Muslims drawing closer, for superiority in the sight of Allah is based on piety, not lineage or nationality. Whoever seeks to separate a husband and wife must repent to Allah, for their action is from the work of Iblis and his allies.
