What is the ruling on looking at a man who dances like women? Is it unlawful or lawful?
A man's imitation of a woman in dancing or other acts is forbidden and involves a form of effeminacy. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed effeminate men and masculine women and commanded that they be expelled from houses. It is not permissible to stand by or look at someone who commits such acts, for this constitutes an endorsement of themunkar (reprehensible act). It is not permissible to be present in a place where there is a munkar unless it is for the purpose of denouncing it.
