Is one rewarded for refraining from wasting time on electronic games for the sake of Allah, especially at the age of 15 and given the need to invest time? And how can one overcome severe addiction to them, or lessen it?

Playing electronic games is permissible unless they contain religious prohibitions such as glorifying the cross or symbols of disbelief. It is necessary to preserve time and not waste it on what is not beneficial, and that is a requirement. The servant will be asked about his life and how he spent it. There are two blessings that many people are deluded about, which are health and free time. Therefore, it is advised to reduce these games and occupy time with what benefits in this world and the Hereafter, and to set a daily schedule for that.
