The justice obligatory upon a husband among his wives is to equalize their nights spent with him, unless one of them relinquishes her right. Equality in fondling and caressing is not obligatory. It is befitting for the husband to treat his wives well, be keen on being just between them, and avoid anything that might provoke jealousy. A man is not allowed to house his two wives in one dwelling without their consent, due to the harm this causes, which incites contention and quarrels.
