How do we respond to someone who asks: "Does Allah have a form? And if He has a form, is it three-dimensional?"

The word "shakl" (form/shape) has not been affirmed or denied in Islamic law, and its meaning must be inquired about. If it is intended to affirm Allah's Essence, which is characterized by attributes of perfection, then this is true, but it should only be expressed with the terms found in Islamic law. If it is intended to affirm a body that resembles the bodies of created beings, then this is disbelief and misguidance, because Allah Almighty says: "There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing."
