Is the wife's request to move out of the in-laws' house due to her discomfort with her father-in-law and his brother considered an exaggeration, and what is the ruling of Islamic law on that?

The husband must provide his wife with a dwelling separate from his family, unless his parents are elderly and need him, and cannot be served except by him living near them. It is not permissible for the wife to be alone with any non-mahram relatives of the husband. It is forbidden for the husband to force her to work in his parents' house or to eat with them. The dwelling must include a good room with a kitchen and a bathroom, and the dwelling should be within the husband's means, commensurate with the wife's situation and social status.
